Hurricane Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday Info from Rita Hatchett

For Your Information: The Virginia Department of Taxation has declared that from May 25 to May 31, 2008, anyone purchasing items that qualify for hurricane preparedness will be exempt from the Retail Sales and Use Tax provided that such items have a selling price of $60 or less per item.
