"Shake It, In Order To Make It!" ~ Homily by Fr. Chester Smith ~ Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, June 29, 2014 ~ Photos and Text by Ethel Cooley
"Shake it in order to make it!" was the message that Fr. Chester Smith, SVD from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis had for St. Elizabeth. "Do you love Jesus enough to help feed the poor, to evangelize?"
We are called to write "our own story" like Sts. Peter and Paul. Don't let anyone write your story, for they will always get it wrong. Hold on to your faith, for God answers prayers. When you have Jesus with you, you can't keep him to yourself.
Remember to read Psalm 27.
