Our presenter today was Kim Bobo, who worked with Barack Obama in Chicago when he was a community activist.
The Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy (VICPP) is a group that advocates economic and social justice in Virginia's policies and practices. Learn, Pray, Act! According to VICPP's information brochure, congregations can be effective in several ways:
- Host an educational forum.
- Organize a letter-writing opportunity.
- Pray about justice issues.
- Join Faith Advocacy Partners program - a way your congregation can partner with VICPP.
