Fr. Jim's Jots - 4th Sunday of Advent 2018
Fr. Jim's Jots
Merry Christmas!
I'm wishing every one of our parishioners, both far and near, a blessed and Holy Christmas. During this time of gift-giving, I pause to say thank you for the gift of St. Elizabeth's Parish. What a blessing it is to be assigned by our bishop and the Catholic Diocese to serve in such a wonderful community. I give thanks for your kindness and warm welcome; truly we welcome the stranger!
As our staff continues to grow; still all part time, so too does our ministries and outreach. This year in a special way we have been able to help so many individuals and families with rent, heating and Christmas gifts. Thank you. I am also blessed and grateful for our Advent and Christmas liturgies.
Our Christmas Mass schedule is Children's program, 5 p.m., Christmas Eve and Mass follows at 6 p.m. Christmas Day, Mass at 9 a.m. Our Mass for the Holy Day of Mary, Mother of God, New Year's Eve, December 31st at 5 p.m. with a potluck meal to follow; all are welcome. Our parish office will be closed until January 2, 2019.
Christmas Blessings,
Fr. Jim
