"God so loved the world, that..." ~ by Ronnie Archer

Jn 3: 16-18

This weekend we celebrated the SOLEMNITY of the Most Holy Trinity. To celebrate Trinity is to celebrate the fact that God IS Father, Son and Holy Spirit; the fact that Jesus was true God and true Man!

To be a real Father, you have to have love. It is most important that we know that God IS love! He loved the world so much that He sent His only Son to the world to be the Savior of the world.

Jesus died on the cross because of love. If we love, then we also have to trust... trust in Jesus.

We were baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and each time we, as Catholics, make the sign of the cross, we show that we believe in the Trinity: three persons in One Divine God.

Jesus gave up His life by suffering and dying for us, all because of LOVE. We are "connected" to each other by the love that God has for His creation. We are expected to show that same love towards each other and treat each other in a way that we believe that the Triune God lives within them, as well as within us.

We've heard in the past that God loves "community" and that is exactly what family is. Let us rejoice that God IS Family. As Christians, we have to show examples of God's love to others. We are called to strive for His holiness.

...HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON!
