F. Jim's Jots - Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time - September 18, 2022

 Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

September 18, 2022

Fr. Jim's Jots

Greetings!

I would like to thank everyone who was involved or participated in last Sunday's Ministry Fair.  Thank you to those who made this event a success and to those who signed up for a Ministry.  We are excited to keep the ministries in St. Eliabeth alive and growing.

If you have yet to register to join St. Elizabeth Church, but are interested in doing so, our purple registration packets are available in the Church vestibule by the kiosk.  Please feel free to take one home with you!  Also, if you are considering baptism for your child, but would like more information on the Sacrament or how to get started, please get in contact with me or the Parish Office.  In-home Baptism lessons are offered for families that start preparation for Baptism.

Please mark your calendar for the morning of November 12th.  We will be holding a clean-up event in the Church in preparation for the Centennial Kick-Off Mass.  We need your help to clean both the Church building and the Rectory, inside and out.  All who are interested are welcome to help volunteer!

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Centennial Commemorative Book by buyiung an Ad!  We received $17,825.00 and over $20,000.00 has been pledged from ad sponsorships.  If you have yet to submit your payment for your Ad, please do so as soon as possible!  I would especially like to thank everyone on the Commemorative Book Committee for making this project possible and for all of the work that they have done!

Blessings!

Fr. Jim
