Fr. Jim's Jots ~ Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Fr. Jim's Jots

Greetings!

Special thanks to all who participated and worked so hard to make our 2019 jazz festival such a huge success.  Special thanks to George Strother, Cathy Woodson, Janet Stern, Connie Hom, Larry Williford, Karen Yesolitis and the countless others who have worked so hard selling raffle tickets, working to get vendors and sponsors; and to the set up and clean up crews.  And a special thanks for those who prayed for good weather and a safe and successful event.  What a blessing!

Now is the time to start thinking about RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) and religious education for children. If you are not Catholic and would like to consider learning more about the Catholic faith, please contact Annie McEntee or Chris Metzger.  Their contact information is on the front of the bulletin.

What a gift it would be to learn more about the faith of a loved one, your spouse or a good friend or perhaps even a fiance'. The RCIA allows us an opportunity, in a small group setting, to meet with others and explore different questions about the Catholic faith.  Classes will start this Fall.  I encourage you to prayerfully consider learning more about this important journey of faith.

Blessings,

Fr. Jim Arsenault
