An Oasis Retreat - A green zone for vets dealing with combat related stress ~ Information provided by Robert Fitzgerald

St. E's Parishioners Lula Lamb and Robert Fitzgerald, Gold Star parents and 23-year veterans of the U.S. Army themselves, have a vision of a place where veterans experiencing combat-related stress and PTSD... and their families can heal. 

The current mental health system is not able to meet the needs of these special people.  Lula and Robert and their friends in the Gold Star movement have found the place of healing in the 93 historic acres called Timber Lodge.

Please visit the Oasis Green Zone website HERE  to see the beautiful Lodge, the sports areas and interiors.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask Lula and Robert.  There is also a brochure available for you to hand forward for veterans in need of these services.

Mass for Peace and Healing - St. Elizabeth Church, Friday April 13th at Noon

Fr. Jim will celebrate a Mass for healing and peace on Friday, April 13th at St. Elizabeth Church at noon.  It will be followed by Benediction and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
