A Farewell Repast for Fr. Francois ~ Sunday, June 3, 2012

Fr. Francois will be leaving St. Elizabeth later this month so our parish family gathered together after Mass on Sunday for a farewell repast in his honor.  The Kitchen Committee decorated the parish hall and served the delicious food prepared by our excellent cooks.  One of the parishioners also put together a beautiful collage of photographs for Father as a remembrance of his ministry with us.

We ask God's abundant blessings on Fr. Francois in his future assignment.

Fr. Francois' 21st Ordination Anniversary ~ December 16, 2011

Congratulations to Fr. Francois on his 21st Anniversary!

Our parish family celebrated Fr. Francois' Ordination Anniversary on December 18th, the closest Sunday to his actual anniversary date. Fr. Dan Brady from St. Michael's was our homilest for the occasion.

After Mass, we gathered in the parish hall for a reception complete with an anniversary cake and punch in addition to lots of good food.

Going Home!

After 11 years in the United States, Fr. Francois will finally be able to make a trip home to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. There will be joy in Kinshasa when his family and friends greet him at the airport. We wish him a safe trip and a wonderful reunion with his family.

A monetary contribution was made to Fr. Francois to help him with his travel expenses. Parish groups contributing were the Men's Group, the Women's Group and the St. Elizabeth Gospel Choir.

If you would like to contribute, do so to these groups. Your funds will help refill their treasuries.
