This is the picture from last Friday.  The Stations of the Cross theme for this Friday was the Family.  Liz had a really good booklet with 7 different readers.  This is the picture of the readers with Father Jim plus a few more children.  It was very reflective and the children were terrific!

Sr. Beulah Martin receives the Harriett Tubman Award in 2017 AND Named "Sister of the Week" in March 2018 - Information provided by Lula Lamb

Our own St. Elizabeth parishioner, Sr. Beulah, was honored last year as the National Black Sisters Conference Harriett Tubman Award winner for 2017!  Congratulations!

She was also named "Sister of the Week" by the NBSC this month.  We are so proud of you!

On February 25, 2018, Rosemary Overton visited Mildred Green, a former parishioner at St. E's, at her parish in Charlotte, NC.  Mildred is a Disciple of Jesus and her task is to assist the young people and seniors at her church, Our Lady of Consolation.
