Fr. Jim's Jots - Feast of Christ the King, 11. 24.2019
I'm so thankful for the kindness and generosity of Saint Elizabeth Catholic Parish. Last week's Homecoming celebration was truly a wonderful gift. Lucy Thompson and the Community Life Committee did an outstanding job, with a delicious meal shared by all. Special thanks, also to the Gospel Choir; the music, as always, was outstanding.
We were blessed to have Deacon Chris Barrett offer a wonderful Homily, on the importance and meaning of Homecoming in the Black church community.
A very special thank you to Liz Wiznerowicz for the history and for organizing the crowning of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, represented by Sandrine and Fr. Augustus Tolton, represented by Noel.
Please read and pray the enclosed prayer of Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th.
