Greetings!!
You're Invited! St. Elizabeth Parishioner, Eva Wiznerowicz, will be performing a solo piano recital here at the Church on Saturday, May 27th at 11 a.m. The program is expected to last about an hour, a 10-minute intermission included. Please join us in supporting Eva as she celebrates this achievement. All are invited and the option to watch on Zoom will be available with the same link as Sunday Mass.
Today is the Seventh Sunday of Easter and we are also celebrating the Ascension of Our Lord. It is in this month of May that we dedicate to the Blessed Mother, that we remember how we as Catholics honor Mary. May we make an effort to pray the rosary this month.
Jazz Festival Raffle tickets are on sale in the back of Church or in the Parish Office. I hope that everyone will purchase a book or two or take some home and sell tickets. We need your help to pay for the upfront expenses of the Jazz Festival. Please take home a book or two today. We are also now looking for businesses to be sponsors for the Jazz Festival. If you have a business or friends with a possible sponsor, please contact the office and we can give you the sponsorship packet to email.

Greetings!
Today is the first Sunday in May and as Catholics, this is the month we honor the Blessed Mother. To honor this special month, every Sunday two families will take home a statue of Mary, as well as a guide to the Rosary and prayers for vocations and families. The next Sunday, the family will return the statue and the guide to give to the next families for a week.
The Rosary is a very important prayer to our Catholic faith as it honors Mary, the Mother of God and the gentle repetition of the words helps us to enter into the silence of our hearts, where Christ's Spirit dwells.
We hope to do this again in October, the month of the Rosary, for more of our families.
Ticket sales for the Jazz Festival start this Sunday! Tickets will be available after Mass on Sunday as well as at the Parish Office. Our raffle ticket sales help pay for the upfront cost of the Jazz Festival and other expenses: bands, stage, security, etc. Ticket books will be $20.00 for 10 tickets or tickets are $2.00 apiece.
We are in need of 5 more volunteers to help sell the tickets. Please contact the parish office or Tim Timmons with your name, email and to help with this important effort. Tim's contact information can be found in the Jazz Festival section at the bottom of the bulletin.
Lastly, we wish to congratulate the children who received Sacraments this Sunday at our 10:00 a.m. Mass. Congratulations to the family of Irene Grazia Yeh for her baptism and to Harper Cave and Elizabeth Bellavance for making their First Communion.
Blessings and Peace,
Fr. Jim

Wow!!
Last Sunday we had a great Irish breakfast hosted by the Men's AOH (Ancient Order of Hibernians) from Richmond. Special thanks for a great meal and a wonderful relationship!
Last Sunday we also had a super fun Easter Egg hunt. The eggs were donated by Kathy Czerwonka, a friend from St. Michael's parish. The eggs were filled with candy, treats and prizes with the help of Erin Cleary. Erin organized the 3 groups of children to find the eggs for a great event! Lots of fun for all!
We now have 7 volunteers to help with the mowing of the parish grounds. We are looking for a few more to spread out this effort. If interested, contact David Woodburn. Email: dwoodburn@stelizcc.org
Special Thanks to those who have already volunteered to help: Eddie Gorman, David Woodburn, Abedi Shishi, Fabrice Nitiyanga, Jeff Sulik and David Hendrick.
Great News!. The 2023 Jazz Festival tickets are here and we are in need of 4 to 6 volunteers to help sell the tickets. Please contact the parish office or Tim Timmons with your name, email and to help with this important effort.
