Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time
September 25, 2022
Fr. Jim's Jots
Greetings!
The centennial Christmas ornaments are beautiful with the logo of St. Elizabeth. Please check them out; they are going fast and are a great Christmas gift of $5.00 each.
Please know that we are still moving forward with the development of the site of the former school and convent. Catholic Charities has been getting grants and the date to start moving ground should be Spring of 2023. Special thanks to Cathy Woodson, who together with others in the parish, has been working with Commonwealth Catholic Charities.
Fall is officially here. Please take the time to have this beautiful colorful season reflect the beauty of God in your heart, mind and soul.
If you would like to celebrate the Sacrament Reconciliation (Confession) please call Fr. Jim at 804-221-1508.
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.
